      Item description

The photo with the red edger to the right shows the outfeed end of the slab dump. The top belt drive drum also serves as the pivot point as the top belt is raised up. This is accomplished by a cylinder which raises a roller under the top belt. The photo with the red edger in the background is the infeed end of the slab dump. Please note that at the outfeed end there are things sticking out from both sides of the machine. This may force the location away from the headrig in order to be clear of the carriage as it travels to the end of its max. stroke. These obstructions, measured from the infeed end of the top belt, begin 7'-8" downstream when used on a left hand mill and 9'-6" downstream when used on a right hand mill. These obstructions may be low enough that they may not interfere depending upon the design of the carriage and track. There are start/stop buttons on both sides of the machine. Disconnects and magnetic starters are mounted on the outfeed end. The solenoid valve to operate the cylinder is present. Air was being used but it looks to me like hydraulic could be utilized as well. The photo with the red edger to the right shows the outfeed end of the slab dump.
